Msi ventus 3070 Ventus 3x OC Edition Review
It has been quite a struggle to get NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 series cards especially msi ventus 3070. We have spent the past few months looking for a GeForce RTX 3070 card to review and hastened efforts after feedback on our NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 review that folks wanted to see a lower-cost card tested. For this review, we were able to find a MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 3x OC Edition. This card takes the GeForce RTX 3070 and adds a custom cooler but still lets us get the ballpark of performance for a RTX 3070. Let us get into the review.

MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 3x OC Edition Overview
Looking at the front of the msi ventus 3070 Ventus 3x OC Edition, we can see the Tri-Fan setup, which covers the entire card. These large cooling fans will keep the RTX 3070 well under temperature control to run nice and cool.
While this may look like dual-slot GPU it actually extends into a third expansion slot. One can see it also extends well past the top of a rear I/O bracket. For many dense installations, this is too large. With a length of 12″ it is also longer than the Founders Edition GeForce RTX 3070.
Flipping the MSI RTX 3070 over, we can see the backplate, which is made from plastic, and a large section that is uncovered which will aid in cooling the RTX 3070.
